Journal notes
Message the Team
The quickest way to reach Trickoteka Games Journal is by email at inbox@trickoteka.com. Every message lands with the small team that writes the site, and we read them all.
Messages that make our day
- Mistakes. A rule explained wrongly, a broken link, a sentence that could be clearer. Name the page and describe what caught your eye.
- Questions. If a game rule, a betting term or a budgeting idea left you puzzled, ask. Good questions often become new articles.
- Ideas. Topics you would like covered, games your group plays that we have not explained yet, or habits you would like a guide to.
- Feedback on the site. Anything hard to read on your phone, a page that loads slowly, a menu that confuses you.
How to get a faster answer
- Put the topic in the subject line, for example "Correction: gin rummy scoring".
- Paste in the link to the article your message concerns.
- Keep it short. A couple of sentences is usually plenty.
Expect an answer from one of us within several working days. Corrections are handled as described on When We Update a Post.
What we cannot help with
We are a reading site and nothing more, so a few requests fall outside what we can do:
- We cannot resolve disputes with casinos, bookmakers or any other operator. Contact the operator and, if needed, the regulator named on its site.
- We cannot give personal financial, legal or medical advice.
- We do not offer betting tips or predictions.
If gambling is causing you or someone close to you difficulty, please look at Keep the Game Fun for warning signs and ways to find local support. A support service will be able to help far more than we can.
A note on privacy and tone
Every message to us travels from your own email app, so nothing passes through extra software or a third-party form service on the way. Please leave out anything you would not want stored in an inbox, such as account numbers or passwords. We are happy to hear from you in a relaxed way. A quick line pointing to a wrong score in a rules table is just as welcome as a long, detailed letter.
Before you write
Your question may already be covered on You Asked, We Answered. For details of what happens to your email once we receive it, see Privacy at Trickoteka.
A note before you write
Four people, one inbox
Your email goes straight to the four of us. There is no ticket system and no automated reply, so answers can take a few working days, but they come from a person who has read your note.
Corrections jump the queue. If we have a rule or a figure wrong, we want to know quickly.
