Terrence was born in Queens, New York, but he grew up mainly in North Carolina. There, he worked as a DJ for WRSV Soul 92.1 until he graduated from high school. At the radio station, Terrence got his first taste of hosting — and he was hooked.

He continued working as a radio DJ throughout college, and just a couple of years after graduating with a degree in mass communication, he got a job as a co-host on BET’s hip hop and R&B music video show, 106 & Park.

Terrence went on to star in numerous movies — including Think Like a Man alongside Kevin Hart — and host several awards shows and competitions, including the Miss USA beauty pageant with Julianne Hough. He also replaced Ryan Seacrest as a co-anchor of E! News and appeared on Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, a spinoff of the wildly popular Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Those are some impressive credentials, but Terrence wasn’t done yet! Eventually, he decided to branch out into the publishing world, and in 2013, he published his first book, The Wealth of My Mother’s Wisdom. It’s an incredible memoir about the life lessons Terrence learned from his mom, and I’d encourage you to pick it up!

I skipped school and started to work for the government as soon as I could. That way I could get an easy and higher loan for my first house to buy at 21 years old. My friends were studying for years and got thousands of study debt. When they finally got done with the study at 27 years old they had to pay off a big amount of money. When they are around 30 years old they can’t buy a house because house prices are so high now they can’t loan enough money so they are forced to rent. While I bought my 4th house now at 26 years old and sold the other 3 with a big profit life is so easy now because of this skip school and work for government method.

After I sell this house with the profit I just buy back a smaller house half the price. Now I can use 50% of my last house that I sold to buy real estate (garages or other things to rent out) Because of those choices I can stop working my job for years sooner than my friends or just work 2 to 3 times a week and live an easy life and have so much more time to enjoy life or hobbies.

During the 8 years that they studied extra, I could invest a nice amount of money in stocks gold, and real estate. Not saying studies are not smart but financially it’s much easier to skip school in my opinion.

I realized that the secret to making a million is making a better investment. I always tell myself I don’t need that new Car or that vacation just yet and that mindset helps me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 70k in blue-chip stocks and crypt0 s ( with the help of my advisor of course ) and made about 380k, but guess what? I put it back and traded with her again and now I’m rounding up close to a million. Delayed gratification always pays off.

People who give up in life are people who lose in life, my first experience happens to be a failure but I never gave up cause I knew it was going to work out for me trying continuously, fortunately, I’m smiling today by getting involved in investment.
